Crowns
A crown (sometimes called a cap) is a covering that restores a severely decayed or damaged tooth to its normal shape and size. It strengthens and protects the structure of a tooth that is cracked, broken or has had root canal therapy. They are considered to be the ultimate restoration for severely compromised teeth. Crowns can be fabricated from many different materials but the most common are porcelain (tooth coloured) and gold.
